About Israel Young Pugwash
The Israel Young Pugwash (ILYP) club at Reichman University operates under the flag of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization - “Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs (1995)” - with the support and endorsement of the Lauder School of Government, the RRIS, and in collaboration Student Union.
Israel Young Pugwash (ILYP) is a network of highly motivated academics and young professionals working to promote multicultural, civil society dialogue on big issues in the world, region, and State of Israel today. As a part of our Roundtable Series, we try to bring you the best and brightest speakers on topics of national and regional importance.
ILYP will focus on issues of Track II diplomacy, negotiations, conflict resolutions, regional security, and strategy, and equip students with knowledge and practical tools by leading experts - in workshops, guest lectures, simulations and more.
We offer a unique opportunity to come face to face with modern conflicts, learn new skills, meet top leading individuals, and associate with students from all over the university. In ILYP, our goal is to hand all members a warm and welcoming environment and to increase their knowledge and understanding of the challenging and constantly changing international arena.
